How commissions affect what we publish

Commission rates vary between merchants, and we think you deserve to know how we handle that:

Rankings are not for sale. No merchant can pay to be included, to rank higher, or to receive a better score.
We recommend products we would not earn from. Where the best answer is a product with no affiliate programme, we say so.
Negative verdicts stay published. If a product we earn from turns out to be poor, the review says so, and we do not remove it.
We do not accept payment for reviews, sponsored placement inside reviews, or editorial control by any brand.
